Earlier this summer we commenced a full refurbishment of The Forge U-Student Village, Sunderland. Although we had only refurbished this accommodation several years ago, our client wanted to add more en-suites to the build. We were given a very tight deadline to meet with 3 months to complete works so that students could move in for September.
We totally gutted the 300 rooms and created an additional 96 luxury en-suite bedrooms. This was in addition to a full redecoration and fit out of the remaining bedrooms.
Phase 2 will start next Spring.
